OVERVIEW OF CONNECTION Connecting the cm4530/cm3530 This equipment supports the various features of electric document processing service in direct connection with printer cable or USB cable, and in network connection such as printing, scanning, and sending E-mail or Internet Fax over the Internet. To enable these features, an administrator has to configure the proper network configuration with client computers, servers, and this equipment.
Available Features Under Each Connection The features available vary depending on the connected configuration. This section describes the features available for each connection. The following connections can be used together. For example, it can directly connect to your computer with a USB cable, and it can also connect to the local area network over TCP/IP.

Setup Flow for Offramp Gateway To enable the Offramp Gateway feature, the optional Fax unit must be installed. This equipment can be used as a Hub Station to forward E-mails — from your client computer or Internet Fax device — to any facsimile on the public switched telephone network. 7. SETUP FLOW FOR E-FILING FEATURE Setup Flow for e-Filing Web Utility Users can manage the boxes, folders, and documents in e-Filing from computers using the web browser. To enable the e-Filing features, an administrator should set up the network connection between computers and this equipment over TCP/IP, and enable the HTTP network service.
7.SETUP FLOW FOR E-FILING FEATURE (Cont.) Setup Flow for TWAIN Driver and File Downloader This equipment supports importing the scan images that are saved in the e-Filing of this equipment into a client computer using the TWAIN driver and File Downloader. The TWAIN driver and File Downloader can retrieve documents that are stored in the e-Filing by the Store to e-Filing functions.
Users and an administrator can remotely manage the equipment using Imagistics Printer Utility, web-based utility. Once Imagistics Printer Utility is enabled, users can view the device information, and manage their jobs remotely from the computer using the web browser. Also Imagistics Printer Utility allows users to register the address book and templates using Imagistics Printer Utility.
