Figure out the total width difference between your custom
paper size and the standard paper size, then divide that in
half. In this example, the standard size width of 8.5
inches minus the custom size width of 7 inches equals 1.5
inches, divided by 2 equals 0.75 inches.

Add the total from Step 12 to the left and right margin
size that you desire for formatting your document. For
example, if you desire a half-inch margin, add 0.75 to 0.5
and then set your page margins in the application to 1.25
inches on each side.

Since the printer prints from the top of the page, the
length difference between the standard and custom sizes
is added to the bottom margin, and the top margin is
unaffected. In this example, the standard size length of 13
inches minus the custom size length of 12 inches equals
1 inch. If you also desire a half-inch margin at the top and
bottom of the page, set the top margin in the application
to 0.5 inches and the bottom margin to 1.5 inches.
Load the custom size paper in the specified tray from
