5-2 Replacement of Parts
5-2-1 Removal of Upper Case
When you need to set the DIP switch 1 as described in section 2-3, or
to change other parts in the printer, it is necessary to remove the
upper case of the printer.
(1) Turn off the power switch, and unplug the power plug from the power
receptacle.
(2) Extract the platen knob from the printer body.
(3) Remove the two mounting screws from the upper case, and disassemle
the upper case.
