2. Control Panel Board

(1) Turn off the power switch [1]
(2) Remove
Printer cover
Rear cover
Platen knob [2]
Four tapping screws [3]
(3) Move the carriage unit [4] over to the right so that it
aligns with the cut-out of the upper case unit [5].
(4) Remove
Upper case unit [5]
Lean the upper case unit [5] forward for removal.
Cable [6] of control panel board.
(1) Remove
Upper case unit according to the procedure
described in item 1.
Control panel board [1]
Push the three hooks [2] of the upper case unit to
remove the control panel board [1] from the four
tabs [3] of the upper case unit.
