Replacement of Print Head
When replacing the print head, follow the procedures given below.
(1) Remove the printer cover and ink ribbon.
(2) While holding the head cable board, extract the head cable from
the head connector.
(3) Remove two screws and washers fastening the print head.
(4) Install a new print head, and fasten it with fastening screws
and washers.
Clamping torque should be 3 kg-cm, and apply screw lock to the
screw heads.
(5) Insert the head cable into the head connector.
If this connection is loose, it may cause print problems.
WARNING:
The print head will be hot during operation and soon afterwards,
so be careful not to burn yourself.
