NAT Rules

The NAT Rules list shows NAT rules that have been configured. If no rules have been configured, the list
shows --Empty-- . The format of each rule is: Private Address/
Subnet-Mask-1s on Interface (Action)
8 on Ethernet 2 (Public) (map TCP/UDP)

Add / Modify / Delete

To configure and add a new NAT rule to the list of configured rules, click Add . The Manager opens the
Configuration | Policy Management | Traffic Management | NAT | Rules | Add
a public interface, the Manager displays the Configuration | Policy Management | Traffic Management | NAT |
Rules | No Public Interfaces
To modify a configured NAT rule, select the rule from the NAT Rules list and click Modify . The Manager
opens the Configuration | Policy Management | Traffic Management | NAT | Rules | Modify screen.
To delete a configured NAT rule, select the rule from the NAT Rules list and click Delete . There is no
confirmation or undo. The Manager refreshes the screen and shows the remaining rules in the list.
Reminder:
The Manager immediately includes your changes in the active configuration. To save the active
configuration and make it the boot configuration, click the Save Needed icon at the top of the Manager
window.
