Configuration | User Management | Groups | Modify (External)

This screen lets you change identity parameters for an external group that you have previously
configured. The screen title identifies the group you are modifying.

Group Name

Enter a unique name for this specific group. You can edit this field as desired. Maximum is 32 characters,
case-sensitive. Changing a group name automatically updates the group name for all users in the group.
See the note about configuring the RADIUS Class attribute under Configuration | User Management | Groups
on page 12-16.

Password

Enter a unique password for this group. Minimum is 4, maximum is 32 characters, case-sensitive. The
field displays only asterisks.

Verify

Re-enter the group password to verify it. The field displays only asterisks.

Type

Click the drop-down menu button and select the authentication server type for the group:
Internal
this type. If you change this group from External to Internal , the Manager displays the Configuration |
User Management | Groups | Modify (Internal)
parameters.
External
external server supplies the group parameters if it can; otherwise the base-group parameters apply.
