and manual.

Automatic
tuning
Automatic
tuning is effective
when station
signals are strong and
there is no interference.
Use INPUT
SELECTOR
(Q
on the INPUT
control
panel)
to select TUNER
as the input source.

If the colon (:) appears on the front panel display on the left of
the band indication ("FM" or "AM"), press PRESET/
TUNING EDIT to turn it off.

Press ;> to tune in to a higher frequency, or press <_to tune in
to a lower frequency.

When tuned in to a station,
the "TUNED"
indicator
lights up
and the frequency
of the received
station is shown on the front
panel display.

Manual tuning
If the signal from the station you want to select is weak,
you must
tune in to it manually.

mode to monaural

the signal quality.
• Use the manual
tuning
method
if the tuning search does not stop at
the desired
station because
the signal is weak.
