Parameter Description
N-cycle jitter
Peak-to-peak jitter between
edges spaced n UI apart.
NLTS
Provides a measurement of the
nonlinear transition shift for a
prml signal.
Npts
Number of points in the
waveform between the cursors.
Overshoot-
Overshoot negative: Amount of
overshoot following a falling
edge, as percentage of
amplitude.
Overshoot+
Overshoot positive: Amount of
overshoot following a rising
edge specified as percentage
of amplitude.
Overwrite
Ratio of residual-to-original
power of a low frequency
waveform overwritten by a
higher frequency.
Param Script
Visual Basic or Java script that
produces a measurement from
one or two input waveforms.
Peaks
Number of peaks in a
histogram.
Peak to peak
Peak-to-peak: Difference
between highest and lowest
points in waveform. Unlike
ampl, does not assume th
waveform
Percentile
Horizontal data value that
divides a histogram so the
population to the left is xx% of
the total.
