Multi-sided shapes (stars and polygons)

Polygons are multi-sided shapes such as pentagons and stars. If the Construction tool is not
displayed, click the arrow at the lower right corner of the Construction tool or click and hold
anywhere in the tool to access the fly-out Construction toolbar. Polygons are created in the
Polygon dialog box.
To create a polygon
1 Click the Construction toolbar > Polygon tool, then click on the work surface to set the
center of the polygon and open the Polygon dialog box.
2 Choose the polygon in the Type drop-down list from the following samples.
3 Choose the number of sides or points. The range is from 3 to 20.
4 Size the shape by entering the side length or radius. In the case of a star, enter both
Radius and Radius2.
Tip: Do not make Radius2 greater than the Radius unless you are creating a special effect.
