Adding NAS Devices

To be recognized as a NAS device, a
ASUS Storage subsystem must have a
logical drive with the NAS feature
enabled. See page 49 or page 153 for
more information.
Also see ―Appendix A: Setting-up NAS
Network Drives‖ on page 407.
When Smart NAS Console starts, it
checks the network for NAS devices.
Smart NAS Console automatically
detects NAS when they are added to the
network.
To add a NAS devices to the Smart NAS
Console Device list:
1.
Under the Device List, right-click
Click here to refresh... and choose
Find NAS over WWW.
The IP dialog box opens.
2.
In the IP dialog box, type the IP address of the ASUS Storage NAS
subsystem and click the Add button.
