Processor Subsystem

The Intel ® Server Board X38ML supports one Intel
Flip-Chip Land Grid Array (LGA) package technology, with an LGA775 socket. The supported
processors are based on the Intel
process technologies. They maintain compatibility with 32-bit software written for the IA-32
instruction set, while supporting 64-bit native mode operation when coupled with supported 64-
bit operating systems and applications. Previous generations of Intel
