Optical Drive
CAUTION:

An optical drive is a CD-ROM, CD-R/RW, DVD-ROM, DVD+R/RW, or CD-RW/DVD Combo
drive.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the computer cover
3.
Raise the drive cage to the upright position.
4.
Disconnect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) from the rear of the optical drive.

Remove the four screws that secure the drive to the drive cage (1), and then slide the drive forward
out of the drive bay (2).
