GH656AV
If you order either AV, the factory will configure the serial port power jumpers so that 12V will be on the
DSUB pin 1 and 5V will be on the DSUB pin 9.
If you order AV# GH655AV, the TWO serial ports on rp3000 will be configured.
If you order AV# GH656AV, FOUR serial ports will be configured for power; however, you must first
order the Powered Serial card AV# KH887AA option before selecting this AV since there are only 2
serial ports on the rp3000. Adding the powered serial card provides a total of 4 serial ports. AV#
GH656AV can then be selected so all four serial ports are configured for power.
Below is a diagram showing the jumper settings for each of these optional preconfigured AV numbers:
CAUTION:
rp3000 motherboard: Serial/COM 1 — P16, Serial/COM 2 = P17
Powered Serial Card: Serial/COM 3 — J4, Serial/COM 4 = J5
