5. Press down on the green drive release latch that secures the
drive, and use your hand to catch the drive as it slides out
of the front of the drive cage.
Removing the Drive from the Drive Cage
6. Remove the drive from the drive cage and store in antistatic
packaging.
The Smart Cover Lock is a software-controllable cover lock.
This lock prevents unauthorized access to the internal
components when the Smart Cover Lock and setup password
are enabled. Your computer ships with the Smart Cover Lock in
the unlocked position. For more information about locking the
Smart Cover Lock, refer to the Desktop Management guide.
