10. To install a new expansion card in an open slot, remove the
expansion slot cover.
11. Slide the expansion card into the expansion slot and press it
firmly into place.
Removing or Installing an Expansion Card
When you install an expansion card, make sure you press
firmly on the board so that the whole connector seats
properly in the expansion card slot.
12. Replace the screw at the side of the expansion slot.
13. Using the two green levers, lower and secure the expansion
card cage into the computer chassis.
Be sure the system board is fully installed in the chassis,
and the expansion card cage is well-seated in the chassis
and makes a good connection to the system board.
14. Replace the computer access panel.
15. Connect external cables to the installed board, if needed.
