Bus Options
* These options should be used by advanced users only.
Description
Lists current settings of Plug and Play (PnP)
devices.
Enables or disables PnP devices.
Allows you to change the configuration of PnP
devices.
Note: Option will not appear if there are no PnP
devices currently installed.
Allows you to set:
PCI bus mastering, which allows a PCI device to
take control of the PCI bus (enable/disable)
PCI reset on warm boot, which asserts the PCI
signal RST# during a warm reboot
(enable/disable)
PCI VGA palette snooping, which sets the VGA
palette snooping bit in PCI configuration space;
this is only needed with more than one graphics
controller installed (enable/disable)
ISA back-to-back I/O delay: Fast allows I/O
transactions on the ISA bus to immediately
follow each other (fast/legacy)
Bus priority: PCI gives more access to the PCI
bus; ISA gives more access to the ISA bus
(ISA/PCI)
I5-MB memory hole: enable won't allow the
memory decoder to decode addresses between
15MB and 16MB; disable allows the memory
decoder to use the 15MB to 16MB range for
normal memory use (enable/disable)
