Removing the
Computer Base
To reattach the Smart Cover Lock, secure the lock in place with
the tamper-proof screws.
Reattaching the Smart Cover Lock
If necessary, you can remove the computer base.
1. Shut down the operating system properly, then turn off
the computer.
2. Lay the computer on its side and remove the four screws
that secure the base to the bottom of the computer.
