To duplicate a PAL tape using the NTSC

Press the REC SYSTEM button corresponding

selected appears in the display window.

Insert a PAL tape into another (playback)
VCR.

Insert a blank cassette with its erasure
prevention
tab in place into your HV-MXI 00
(recording)
VCR.

Press INPUT to display "LINE1" (rear) or
"LINE2" (front) on the TV screen.

Press T.SPEED to select the tape speed,
The tape speed that can be selected with the Rec
System differs as mentioned below:
NTSC, M-PAL: SP or EP
PAL, SECAM, MESECAM,
N-PAL: SP or EP

Set the other VCR to playback.
The Input System PAL indicator appears in the display.
