Before starting
Check that the REC SYSTEM button corresponding
to the color system in which
you want to record is pressed.
Select the tape speed.

Insert a pre-recorded
source cassette into another (playback)
VCR.
Insert a blank cassette with its erasure prevention tab in place
into your HV-MXI 00 (recording)
VCR.
Press INPUT to display "LINE 1" (rear) or "LINE 2" (front) on the
TV screen.
Set the other VCR to playback.
Press
REC/OTR on the recording VCR.
Duplicating begins.
Connecting the equipment with a 21-pin start connector
You can connect other equipment with a 21 -pin start connector in Europe. See
page 27.
