The PMG1-S3 MCU controls the functionality of the two USB Type-C ports on the kit by controlling the
consumer FETs and provider FETs. Each USB Type-C port has a buck-boost converter that is controlled by the
PMG1-S3 MCU to set the output voltage when the respective USB Type-C port is in source operation. Each of the
ports, Port 0, and Port 1 can be either in source or sink operation independent of each other's role.
