Task 6: Connect the Duplex SC Cables

The DIGITAL VNswitch 900CG uses both Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) and Multi-
Mode Fiber (MMF) port connectors.
Some fiber optic equipment can emit laser or infrared light that can injure your
eyes. Never look into an optical fiber or connector port. Always assume the cable
is connected to a light source.
Table 2-3 and Table 2-4 describe supported Short Wave Length and Long Wave
Length cable distances.
