How to Install the Module
The hot-swap feature allows you to install the module into the DIGITAL MultiSwitch
900 without turning off power. Seating the module initiates power-up.
To install the module, complete the following tasks.
Task 1: Compare the Power Ratings
Compare your module's power requirements (1) with the values shown in the Chassis
Manager (2) status display (Figure 2-3).
If any of the module's power requirements exceed the values shown in the status
display, add another power supply (see the DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900 Owner's
Manual).
