How to Install the Module

Task 3: Verify Initial LED Operation

If...
This is a new installation
The module was installed while the
DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900 is
powered up
To verify initial LED operation, check the following stages:

Description
When the module receives power, the module's Power LED lights and
remains lit.
The module runs a self–test.
Note: The self-test takes approximately three minutes to complete.
After the module completes self-test, the Module OK LED lights and
remains lit.
The Chassis Manager status display shows VNswitch 900CG.
Then...
Turn on the power to the DIGITAL
MultiSwitch 900.
Seating the module initiates the module's
power–up sequence.
If the LEDs do not operate as described,
refer to Appendix A - Problem Solving.
For locations of the module's LEDs, refer
to Figure 2-1.
