Battery Switch OFF
Notification
This function alerts the operator
that the battery switch is OFF and
must be turned to the ON
position. If the battery switch is
OFF, a buzzer will sound three
times during the following
situations.
When starting the engine
●
When using the power trim/
●
tilt switch
When turning the battery
●
switch OFF while the ignition
switch or power switch is ON

Power Reduction

This outboard motor is equipped
with the power reduction system
which activates when the
outboard motor has a serious
problem.
The power reduction system
decreases the engine speed to
protect the engine until the
malfunction is corrected.
When one of the two systems of
the remote control sensor is
faulty, the power reduction
system does not decrease the
engine speed.
