7. Drain the fuel tank into an
approved gasoline container,
or if you need to store fuel in
the fuel tank, you can extend
fuel storage life by filling the
fuel tank with fresh gasoline
and adding Honda Marine
fuel stabilizer or equivalent
following the directions on
the container.
ENGINE OIL
1. Change the engine oil (P.96).
2. Remove the emergency stop
switch clip from the
emergency stop switch, and
remove the spark plugs (P.
100).
3. Pour 1 – 2 teaspoons (5 – 10
3
cm
) of clean engine oil into
each cylinder.
4. Rotate the engine a few
revolutions to distribute the
oil in the cylinders.
5. Reinstall the spark plugs (P.
100).

Consult an authorized Honda
Marine dealer when removing the
outboard motor from the hull.
