Ignition Switch (without
START/STOP switch)

IGNITION SWITCH KEY
The ignition switch controls the
ignition system and the starter
motor.

Turning the ignition switch key to
the START position starts the
engine. The key automatically
returns to the ON position when
released from the START position.
The engine will not start unless
the gearshift/throttle control
lever is in the NEUTRAL position
(P.58) and the emergency stop
switch clip is in the emergency
stop switch.
Turning the ignition switch to the
OFF position stops the engine.
