Press these keys to dial numbers and to enter characters
during number/name storing procedures.
Press these keys to enter symbols during the name storing
procedure. Press the * (Tone) key to change from pulse
dialing to tone dialing mode.
Press this key to stop an operation before it is completed, or to
delete the number that was last input. This key is also used to
close the line when manually dialing.
Press this key to begin sending a fax or manually receiving a
fax.
Press this key to connect to your telephone line to begin
manual dialing. To close the line, press the key again.
Press this key to automatically redial the last fax number you
dialed or to insert a pause when entering numbers.
Press this key to dial a two-digit speed dial number. During
character input use this key to delete an incorrect entry. Press
this key twice to search for a previously stored number.
Press this key to transmit one page at a time. This mode is
used when the internal memory can not hold the entire set of
documents to be transmitted. Very large and complex
documents can be transmitted using this mode.
This key can be configured as a rapid key or as the polling
key. When configured as a Rapid key, it will operate like the
other Rapid keys. When configured as polling key, press it to
start polling.
Press this key to send documents to multiple (up to 50)
receiving fax machines.
Press this key to select the mode (auto, manual or answering
machine) for receiving faxes.
This light indicates the answering machine will answer if the
line is properly connected.
This light indicates the machine must be answered manually.
This light indicates the machine will answer automatically.
Turn this dial to adjust the contrast level of the LCD.
