Setting the Date and Time

The date and time that appear in the display are printed at the top of every transmitted page. Set
the date and time by pressing the keys on the operation panel as shown below. To correct a
mistake, press the Stop/Exit key to move the cursor back to the mistake and then enter the
correct number.
Note: The machine supports millennial dates (those from the year 2000 on). To program such a
date, enter the last two digits. For example, the year 2000 is programmed by entering "00".
Use the following procedure to set the date and time:

Enter the minute (2 digits: "00" to "59").
Press "*" to select A.M., or "#" to select P.M.
