Manufacturing launch warnings
After clicking on the button, if there are some warnings, the
"Manufacturing launch warnings" message will appear:
This is a warning information to indicate:
• Lens cleaner filter timer compared to the recommended
interval replacement,
• Powder selected on the printer configuration (see section "Configuration" on page 47) compared to the powder
defined on the FAB3 manufacturing file.
• Type of powder (reactive or non-reactive) compared to the type of gas, both defined on the printer configuration
(see section "Configuration" on page 47).
• Current oxygen value compared to the "Minimum O2 threshold to launch a manufacturing" setting (see "Oxygen
tab" paragraph of the section "Configuration" on page 47),
• Scanner head sensor state.
• Base plate clamping state.
1. Select Quit (C), then fix all warnings before continuing.
2. Click on either Validate

To overcome O2 level variation around the fume safety setting, the job will start only if the oxygen level is
lower than 90% of the fume safety setting .
Interrupt a job
During the manufacturing, it is possible to interrupt the job by clicking the pause button
• The Cycle interruption message will be displayed.
• The printer will finish the current layer sintering, will then proceed to the next layering cycle without sintering. The
operator will have to:
• Click on to continue the job, or
• Click on to completely stop the manufacturing.
