Passive analog inputs require external power supply for operation. Set analog output dip switch
to P (passive) before powering up
the system.

Active analog inputs need no external powering of the input terminal. Set analog input dip
switch to A (active) before powering up the system.
SITRANS TDL provides power supply for the active analog inputs and thus analog inputs
MUST NOT BE powered externally.
