8.1.5.1
Diagnostic log
While parameter Device status (3.2.1) (Page 128) includes all active or unacknowledged alarms/
diagnostics, Diagnostic log (3.2.2) (Page 128) includes the latest 100 alarms/diagnostics,
acknowledged or not. (The diagnostic log can be cleared using parameter Clear diagnostic log
(3.2.3) (Page 128).)
A list of alarms and diagnostics is available by default in operation view 6 - Type: Diagnostics.
There are two ways to remove alarms/diagnostics from the active list. Use parameter
Acknowledge mode (2.4.1.5):
• Set to "Manual": The alarm/diagnostic remains in the list until the cause is removed and the
alarm/diagnostic is manually acknowledged.
The time of the acknowledgement is shown in the diagnostic log as long as the log is not
cleared.
• Set to "Auto": The alarm/diagnostic is removed from the list when the cause is removed.
8.1.6
Memory card
A high-performance micro SD memory card can be installed in the device. The memory card can
be used to perform firmware upgrades of the HMI.
See menu Memory card (3.7) (Page 130) to confirm if card is installed and monitor free space
on the card.
The card is used to store change logs for parameters and firmware, and an alarm history log.
The card is also used to store parameter backup files (restore points), and data logging of
process values and parameters.
