3.49 Thermistor Abnormality

Method of Error
Detect according to temperature detected with individual thermistors.
Detection
Error Decision
The system is in operation and the thermistor causes wiring disconnection or short circuit in it.

 Defective connection of thermistor
Causes  Defective thermistor
 Defective outdoor unit PCB
Troubleshooting
Note(s)
1. Check the error code and sub code, and replace the corresponding thermistor.

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution connectors, or parts may be damaged.
Thermistor is

connected to the
connector.

Resistance
is normal when
measured after
NO
disconnecting the
thermistor from the
outdoor unit PCB.
CHECK 11
YES
Troubleshooting by Error Code
Connect the connector and turn
ON again.
Replace the thermistor ( 1).
Replace the outdoor unit PCB.
