Method of Error
Abnormality is detected under the communication conditions in the hardware section between the
Detection indoor unit and outdoor unit.
Error Decision
When the communication conditions in the hardware section between the indoor unit and the
Conditions outdoor unit are not normal.
Supposed
 Defective outdoor unit main PCB (A1P)
Causes  Defective outdoor unit sub PCB (A8P)
 Defective connection communication line between indoor and outdoor units
Troubleshooting
Part 6 Service Diagnosis
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
Turn OFF the power once
and turn ON again.
Return to normal?

inside/outdoor relay
wires of outdoor unit main/sub
PCB is disconnected.

External factor other than error (for
example, noise etc.).
Connect the communication line

Replace the outdoor unit sub PCB
(A8P).
