• After auxiliary heating (only if extension module is configured)

8.4.2 Self-diagnosis

ⓘ The self-diagnosis can take up to 20 minutes. The unit must be activated for longer than 15 minutes to perform
the self-diagnosis.
The availability and function of the following components can be tested via the self-diagnosis:
• Heat recovery
ⓘ If the external temperature is above 10 °C, the function test cannot be performed.
Self-diagnosis is successful if the heat recovery is between 60-100 %.
• Bypass
ⓘ If the temperature difference between extract air and intake air is ≥5 °C, the function test cannot be perfor-
med.
The bypass function must be active.
Self-diagnosis is successful if there is an increase in the supply air side efficiency determined by the unit.
• Auxiliary heater
The auxiliary heater must be activated.
Self-diagnosis is successful if the supply air temperature increases by +2 °C.
• Heating element
The pre-heater must be activated.
Self-diagnosis is successful if the supply air temperature increases by +2 °C.

8.4.3 Test mode

The test mode can be implemented for the following components:
• Fan test
• Heating element test
• Bypass test

8.4.4 Error log

The existing unit errors are displayed. The error is also displayed on the homepage.
8.5

Settings

8.5.1 Language

Select the desired language for the user interface.

8.5.2 Release code

Change release code.
ⓘ The release code is pre-set to 0000 as standard.

8.5.3 Perform cloud service / software update

• Connect cloud service
When you click on "Connect", the homepage will open automatically to register on the cloud service.
ⓘ       W hen you click on "Connect", a software update will be carried out automatically.
If the registration page does not open automatically, wait for approx. 5 minutes until the software update is comple-
ted. Then reconnect to the cloud service.
Registration with the Cloud service is not required to perform an update.
• Disconnect cloud service
When you click on "Disconnect", the connection to the cloud service will be disconnected.

8.5.4 User level

3 user levels are available:
• Admin: The user has full access to all unit settings.
• Normal: The user can see the ventilation unit data and change some settings. Access to special settings is blocked.
• Restricted: The user can change the ventilation mode and see unit data. However, the user cannot edit any system
settings.

8.5.5 Child-proof lock

If the "Child-proof lock" function is active, the control element KWL-BE Touch can be unlocked with the PIN code 1001.

8.6

Configuration

8.6.1 Fan setting

Set fan power for supply and extract air fans.
• Supply air
• Extract air
ⓘ The fan powers may only be changed during adjustment!

8.6.2 Sensor settings

Set the connected sensor parameters:
• Temperature control depending on
• Supply air
The supply air setpoint corresponds to the target supply air temperature in the current ventilation mode.
Example: If the target supply air temperature in the "At home" profile is 15 °C, then the supply air setpoint is
also 15 °C.
• Extract air
