Trouble
No vacuum gauge indication at
instrument.
No vacuum gauge indication at
gauge or pump.
Low vacuum system pressure.
Normal pressure indication but
sluggish operation of i n s t r u m e n t s .
High system pressure.
Regulator cannot be adjusted to
produce correct pressure.
Vacuum correct on ground, but
will not maintain pressure at
a l t itude.
Vacuum correct, but pilot reports
pressure erratic or shows complete
loss in fight.

Filter clogged or dirty.
Line from gyro to filter restricted.
Faulty gauge or malfunctioning
pump.
Filter dirty.
Vacuum regulator valve incorr e c tly
