Cable tension too low.
Cables not in place on pulleys.
Broken pulley.
Linkage loose or worn.
System not lubricated properly.
Cable tension too high.

Adjust and lubricate per
Paragraph 5-8.
Replace binding pulleys and/or
provide clearance between pul-
leys and brackets.
Install cables correctly.
Check routing of control
cables.
Repair or replace stabilator
hinge.
Adjust stop screws per
Paragraph 5-19.
Rig cables in accordance with
Paragraph 5-19.
Remedy
Adjust in accordance with
Paragraph 5-25 and Table V-lI.)
Install cables according to
Paragraphs 5-22 and 5-24.
Replace pulley.
Check linkage and tighten or
replace.
Lubricate system.
