3.1.h Electrical connection
Before performing the electrical connection, make sure that the data on the power line correspond to those
indicated on the rating plate and that the main electric power switch upstream of the machine is disconnected
" O " OFF.
It is necessary to interpose between the power line and the machine a suitably sized omnipolar power
switch with opening of the contacts which allows complete disconnection in the conditions of overvoltage
category III in accordance with the installation regulations.
The section of the power cables must not be less than that indicated in the "TECHNICAL DATA SHEET".
Connect the power supply cable to the main switch located upstream of the machine.
Connect the equipotential earth electrode to the terminal. It is necessary to connect the equipment to an
effective earthing system as required by the current electrical safety standards. Check this fundamental
requirement, and if in doubt, request a thorough check of the system by qualified personnel.
The power cable CANNOT be replaced by the user but ONLY by technical assistance.
If the cable is not protected in the pipe, use a flexible polychloroprene sheathed cable with specifications
equivalent or higher than the H07RN-F type.
The cable must be connected to the "Q1" switch and to the earth bar marked with a "PE" plate, running it
through and locking it with the cable gland provided (see wiring diagram references).
The equipment must also be included in an equipotential system, the effectiveness of which must be verified
according to the standards in force. The connection is made using the screw marked by the dedicated plate
located on the front of one leg of the machine, accessible from the outside.
Check the length of the line; if it is too long, adjust the section according to the line length and absorption.
The power cable must not be pulled or pinched during normal operation or maintenance.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service
or in any case by a person with a similar qualification, in order to prevent any risks.
Before commissioning, the circuit breaker of the QFE10 (QFE11) boiler must be open (OFF position). Before
resetting it, check that, after powering up the machine, the boiler is full of water, making sure that water
comes out of the rinsing nozzles.
Check that all the THREE-PHASE motors turn in the correct direction (e.g. compressor and recirculation
pump of the heat pump, drying fan).
