Running the Remote Client
Once the remote client is launched and running, the library server can communicate with the LMC remote
client while on the same local area network, wide area network or through a virtual private network (VPN).
The remote client currently does not support accessing the library across firewall security. A firewall may be
bypassed by means of a VPN, however. Refer to
Other remote client limitations include:

Only one remote client should be running and logged into the library at any one time.
•
Only one instance of the remote client should be open and running on any single remote host
computer. This is true even if each separate instance of the remote LMC client is pointing to a
different library. Refer to
