Safe travel
The door is impacted, though the side

airbag isn't triggered to deploy.
When the front pillar, rear pillar and roof
•
side member decoration or ceiling fitted
with the side airbag curtains have been
scratched, cracked or damaged in other
forms.
Before consulting the personnel of
Geely Service, do not make any of the
following changes that may affect the
normal operation of side airbag curtains:
Install electronic devices such as mobile
•
two-way radio communication devices.
Refit suspension system.
•
Repair at or near the bracket.

Deployment of airbag

Deployment of front airbag
The front airbag deploys when the vehicle is
in a moderate to severe frontal collision at a
speed of 25 km/h or above.
In the event of a collision, whether the
airbag works depends on the collision
object, the collision direction and the speed
of vehicle deceleration caused by the
collision. In case of severe frontal collision,
the front airbag will deploy.
Deployment of side airbags and
side airbag curtain*
In case of moderate to severe side impact of
the vehicle and the designed value is
reached, the front side airbag and side
airbag curtain
deployed.
In case of side collision, the deployment of
side airbag and side airbag curtain can
reduce the risk of upper body and pelvis
injury.
Cases in which front airbags may
not be deployed
Vehicle not started.
•
When the collision occurs between the
•
vehicle and deformable objects, such as
trees.
When the vehicle collides against low
•
objects like steps etc. in the process of
running.
When the vehicle falls down to a trench
•
or pit suddenly.
In case of crash (underrun crash) against
•
the rear of truck.
Rollover.
•
Side collision, rear collision and slight
•
head-on collision.
