Electronic
stability
(ESC) system
The electronic stability control (ESC) system
is a kind of active safety technology that
assists the driver in controlling the vehicle. It
corrects the instability of the vehicle body
and helps prevent accident from applying
braking force to the wheels or reducing the
power system torque, and guides the
vehicle back to the correct route.
The ESC system is only an auxiliary
system, and there are still risks on the

When the ESC system is enabled, the ESC
status indicator will flash on the instrument
cluster. This also occurs when the traction
control system is activated. You may hear
some noise or feel the vibration of brake
pedal. This is normal. Continue to steer the

indicator will be always on and the system
will not work normally. Driving style should
be adjusted. ESC will be enabled when the
vehicle is started. To keep control of the

Vehicle Setting → Vehicle control in turn on
the multimedia display screen in order to
enable the ESC SPORT mode in this
interface. When the ESC SPORT mode is

When there is insufficient traction force, the
ESC can be turned off in the following
conditions:
When it runs on deep snow or soft road.
When the vehicle is trapped (such as
muddy road) and needs to be moved
forward and backward.
When the vehicle travels with tire chains.

Turn off the ESC sport mode again through
the multimedia display screen, and the ESC
will turn on automatically. Then, the ESC
OFF indicator

Hydraulic brake assist (HBA)

During emergency braking, the HBA system
will increase the driver's braking force and
reduce the braking distance.
