2.1 General description
The Regesta Smart PRO router family are industrial-grade routers that deliver secure and reliable IP broadband con-
nectivity to telecontrol and telemetry networks in smart grid deployments.
Designed specifically to function in challenging and harsh conditions, the Regesta Smart PRO routers possess rug-
gedized mechanics and special features, enabling them to withstand extreme temperatures. As a result, these
routers are highly suitable for deployment in industrial environments, industrial telecontrol, and distribution installa-
tions for electricity, gas, water and other utilities.
The router ensures optimal execution and maximum security of communications among multiple IP services. Addi-
tionally, it provides maximum communications reliability by simultaneously using 2G/3G/LTE interfaces and WAN
Ethernet links. This reliability is guaranteed through comprehensive support for management, supervision, and
backup functionalities.
The device features a protective casing that effectively prevents any contact with the connectors while the device is
powered.
