2.6 Inserting the batteries

Remove the battery cover from the remote control and put 2x AAA size batteries inside the compartment.
The diagram inside the battery compartment shows the correct way to install the batteries.
1. Open the cover
Toggles between TV and RADIO mode
No function
Opens the favourite list selection if previously con gured
Opens the recently watched channel list or switches between the two last previously
watched channels*
Opens the list of audio languages
Shows the actual channel information (2x event info, 3x technical info)
Opens the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) in TV mode
Menu O : Change channel to next/previous. Menu On: Moves the cursor up/down
Menu O : Decreases/increases the volume level. Menu On: Change settings and
navigation in menu
Menu O : Displays the current channel list. Menu On: Opens the highlighted setting
or for con rmation. In Videotext mode: Changing the transparency in 3 stages
Opens the main menu; Within the menu switches to TV mode
One step back from each menu or to cancel actions
Increases/decreases the volume in all modes (with TV picture in BG/Videotext)
Scroll page wise in all lists
Opens the satellite list in TV mode. In EPG and Timer mode it opens the Timer list
Channel up/down
Opens the settings for TV format, aspect ratio and resolution
Opens the videotext if available
Shows the list of DVB-subtitles if available
Gives direct access to mails from your broadcaster
In Multimedia mode: To pause the playback of a le
In Multimedia mode: Fast rewind/Fast forward
No function
In Multimedia mode: Starts the playback of a selected le (Preview)
In Multimedia mode: During playback to jump to the previous / next le
In Multimedia mode: Stops the playback of the selected le
