Materials and Tools Required

To remove and replace an existing tape drive, or to add a new tape drive, you will need
the following items:

A Sony AIT tape drive (Figure 1)
Š
A #1 Phillips screwdriver
Š
A #2 Phillips screwdriver
Š
A 1/4-inch flat head screwdriver
Š
A work space with enough room for easy access to the front and rear of the library

Estimated Time Required

This procedure should take less than one hour.
