Prepare the Library and Host System

Perform a complete system shut down. Exit all programs running on the host
1.
computer and switch off power to the host computer, the library, and any other
attached equipment.
Disconnect all cables from the library.
2.
Make a record noting the locations of all the disconnected cables.
3.
Warning:
Disconnection of cables must be done with the power to the host
system and library off.
