Configuring the network interfaces

How to configure the settings of a network interface:
IMPORTANT:
The operation of both network interfaces within one subnet is not
permitted.
NOTE:
The Link Local address space 169.254.0.0.0/16 is reserved for internal com-
munication between devices according to RFC 3330. It is not possible to assign an
IP address of this address space!
1. In the menu, click on

Operating mode

section.

Interface A
Select the operating mode of
 Off:
Switch off network interface.
 Static:
A static IP address is assigned.
 DHCP:
Obtain IP address from a DHCP server.
Link aggregation active
Only if the Static operating mode is selected, enter the IP
address of the interface.
Only if the Static operating mode is selected, enter the net-
mask of the network.
