Switching between channels

Switching to one of the computers connected to the KVM switch can be carried out
via
buttons on the device

ADVICE:
Advanced ways to switch between channels (via a serial device, the web
application Config Panel, the switching tool EasyControl, XML control, or SNMP)
are described in the following chapter from page 14.
Keyboard and mouse inputs as well as the data stream of the USB devices con-
nected to the KVM switch and the incoming audio signal are routed to the active
computer after switching.
IMPORTANT:
If the user switches the active channel, a USB device connected to
the KVM switch is immediately no longer available to the previously active com-
puter. If the computer writes data to the mass storage device at this time, this pro-
cess is aborted.
To avoid data loss, use the function to Safely remove hardware of the operating sys-
tem used on the computer before switching the channel.

Switching via buttons

How to use the buttons on the device to switch to a particular channel:
 Press the button of the desired channel on the device to activate it.

Switching via key combinations

How to use key combinations to switch to a particular channel:
 Press the key combination
By default, you can use the modifier
between channels.
IMPORTANT:
The channel is switched after you release the key combination.
