Use of the Reset button

The Reset button is placed on the front of the device (between the Identification LED
and the Status LEDs).
You can use the button to restore the default settings or to temporarily disable the
network filter rules.
NOTE:
To avoid pressing the button by accident, it is placed behind a hole in the
front panel.
Use a thin, pointed object to press the button.

Restoring the default settings

Pressing and holding the button during booting restores the default settings of the
KVM switch.
NOTE:
After this, the default settings of the KVM switch apply again.
How to restore the system defaults:
1. Switch the device off if it is in use.
2. Press and hold the Reset button on the front panel of the device.
3. Keep the button pressed and switch the device on.
4. Release the button as soon as the green System LED starts blinking fast.
NOTE:
You can also use the web application Config Panel to reset the default set-
tings.
