Refitting of the hard tonneau
1. Instal the gas struts onto the lower ball
pins in the load area.
Note
•
Always fit the strut with the wiring
connections to the left hand side.
•
Ensure the struts are fitted in the
same orientation with the large
diameter shaft upward.
2. Place the two retaining pins
lower hinge sections
Refer to the illustration.
3. With the aid of an assistant place the
cover in its closed position on the
load area.
Note Do not engage the locks.
4. Raise the rear of the cover upwards
and align the upper
hinge sections.
5. Slide the retaining pins
both hinge sections then engage
the pins into the retaining clips in
position
. Refer to the illustration.
6. Instal the upper ends of the gas
struts onto the ball pins on the cover.
Connect the wiring connectors on the
left hand strut.
7. Connect the wiring plug.
