1. Access the Option menu by pressing the Menu Control Dial
system is switched on.
2. Highlight the menu item 'Audio setup' by turning the Menu Control Dial
clockwise.
3. Press the Menu Control Dial
4. Highlight the menu item 'Beeps' by turning the Menu Control Dial
5. Press the Menu Control Dial
6. Turn the Menu Control Dial to switch between the settings.
7. Press the Menu Control Dial
8. To exit the menu, select the 'Back' option or wait 8 seconds.
Speed Dependent Volume (SDV)
The SDV system adjusts the audio system volume depending on the vehicle's speed.
As the vehicle's speed increases, the volume of the audio system also increases to
compensate for the driving noise.
You can select the compensation rates between 0 (off) and 5 (maximum compensation).
1. Access the Option menu by pressing the Menu Control Dial
system is switched on.
2. Highlight the menu item 'Audio setup' by turning the Menu Control Dial
clockwise.
3. Press the Menu Control Dial
4. Highlight the menu item 'Speed Vol' by turning the Menu Control Dial
clockwise.
5. Press the Menu Control Dial
6. Turn the Menu Control Dial to switch between the five levels of compensation.
7. Press the Menu Control Dial
8. To exit the menu, select the 'Back' option or wait 8 seconds.
Note This feature will never completely compensate for the driving noise. There are
other factors such as road surface, wind noise, open windows, engine speed, etc., that
may alter the interior noise for any given road speed.
For this reason there are five different levels of compensation available to allow you to
find the one that suits your average driving conditions best.
